Cheers to Fullbyles

BIRTHDAYS! They have always been a big thing for me. I grew up celebrating birthdays with parties, dinner at a restaurant, a day trip to the beach, always surrounded by family and friends. I loved that fact that I grew up in a home that celebrated birthdays. It was a great reminder to celebrate life and to be thankful for every year you see. Celebrations are life’s sweet moments.

This year in particular is very special. I’ll turn 25 years old this September 8th! In that spirit to start my birthday month right I wanted to have this post circled around celebration. So off my girl and I went for ice cream at MN Nice Ice Cream in Northeast Minneapolis, MN. I wanted images that would reflect a sweet celebration for how far Fullbyles has come.

I’ve come a long way. I can admit that happily. This journey with creating Fullbyles has been one of the most exciting, frustrating, rewarding things I have ever ventured out and done. This month Fullbyles is 8 months old! I wanted to take the time to smell the roses and acknowledge that accomplishment. I also just love the number 8. So I wanted to share some exciting upgrades that Fullbyles has gone under this summer.

PERSONAL STORIES

I want to further connect with every person and the world around me. I want to tap into the magic and wonder that social media allows us to use. To start this journey right, I will be exposing a little of myself to you all.I don’t know if you notice but at the beginning of every post, like this one, I like to tell you all stories about my past to gain a sense of my history. I think it gives context for the things I write about and I would like to think my life is interesting enough to have its own reality show. But that’s a conversation for another time. So I will continue my personal stories at the beginning of every post in hopes that I am able to connect with you all through the power of words and the Internet.

DOMAIN

This summer I took a bold step to buy my domain. People can now officially find Fullbyles by just typing fullbyles.com. I believe taking this step is a reflection of commitment to this journey and my commitment to myself to see this new path through. It’s such a great feeling to feel professional and take this blog to the next step. With that in mind, I thought what would a new domain name be without a website upgrade?!

LAYOUT

The new layout of Fullbyles has been slowly changing. However, the time has come to just go all in. I believe now it’s appropriate to have a new layout that reflects my future aspirations. The overall layout has been changed, the font more reflects my style, and there are now new pictures throughout the website that matches the quality content of Fullbyles.

CATEGORIES

Lastly, there are new categories or pages added (Lifestyle, Travel, Fashion, Beauty, and Food) that reflect the scope I aspire to take Fullbyles in the coming years. It also makes it easier to find the specific content you’re looking for on any given day.

Lastly, and most importantly, I want to say thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. There are so many people supporting me on this journey, some expected and some unexpected, but I value you all. Thank you for the encouraging words and genuine interest about what’s next for Fullbyles. I hope this post gave you a sense of what’s to come. This journey is not easy and very challenging but this little nugget is still in the game. Like they say, better is yet to come.
